How to specify filename for file uploaded to Airtable?

Whenever I upload a file using a browser to an Attachment field in Airtable, it correctly uses the original filename inside Airtable. When uploading a file using a Zap, the filename in the Attachment field is Unnamed attachment. Is there a way I can specify the filename when uploading it via Zapier?

Learndash Authentication 403 Error

Hi @Danvers ,    I am having this same issue, I cannot connect Zapier to Learndash, and am getting this error response: authentication failed: Got 403 calling POST https://www.mysite.com/, expected 2xx.   Was a resolution found yet, or can I be added to the list of affected? Thanks!

Anyone knows how to change the value of a Typeform answer in Zapier? Let's say I have a dropdown with 10 choices. User picks choice #1 which is "Developer". I'd like "Developer" to be an ID instead of "Developer".

Putting Webhooks in Emails to trigger actions

I’m looking to use Zapier to trigger something like a drip campaign, wherein the recipient will have multiple options to click on. Some of those options I’d like to be able to capture back into a Zap to push data to an airtable. So the rough workflow is…   Generate Email from airtable content [done] Add trigger Webhook links to Email [stuck] Send email [done] If user clicks on any Webhook link, update a row in Airtable [stuck] Anyone have any pointers? I’m basically stuck on the first part of getting Webhooks integrated. Thank you!

How to Push a Slack Message to a zap, for all users.

I am trying to make it so my Slack users can choose a message in Slack to push to Zapier, which will then convert it to a new Task in Breeze. This works, I can select a message in slack and pull up the menu to push it to Zapier which then creates a task in Breeze.    My problem is that I want anyone in my Slack team to be able to so this and have it go to the same team Breeze project. I see the “Push to Zapier” menu item, but no one else sees it, or rather they see it (since Zapier is connected to our Slack workspace for other Zaps) but then they select it it says they have no Zaps.  I was able to previously make a Zap that sent email when anyone posted a new message to Slack channel. How can I allow users to select a message and send it to the Breeze Zap?

Slack images not posting to facebook pages.

I have set up a Slack channel to post messages to facebook. The text appears in the facebook page but the image does not. I know that Slack does provide the image URL because I have used the Slack API  to access the messages in Slack and the image URL is in the message. Note: the image is also publicly shared by Slack so it is available to Facebook. So - composite messages with text and images - or gifs, posted on a Slack channel do not appear in facebook as they do on the channel. Only text appears - no images. Is this expected behavior? If so, what is the value of having an integration that does not reflect accurately the data posted to a Slack channel? Hopefully I am doing something wrong. If not - I don’t understand the business value of the Slack-Facebook integration; or why would anyone use it or pay for it.

webhook POST with xml contents - email trigger

Hello,  I’m curious if zapier can accomplish what i am trying to to do. Here is the desired workflow.  Email is received in an O365 mailbox with multiple xml files attached(ex. leads.xml, sales.xml, etc) Zap is triggered to POST the contents of the XML files to a webhook URL for a 3rd party service. 3rd party has the POST method in place.  Is this possible? Are there other preferred ways other than going directly between apps.  Thank you in advance!

Newbie zap help - Mailchimp and Act

Hi, I am a newbie so hoping for some help to understand if I am on the right track or my thinking is a little off. So I have just switched our email marketing from Constant Contact to a free Mailchimp plan. Right now I have 2 subscribers in my one audience, as I am in the process of adding my known unsubscribers and then my client contacts and then my prospect (opted in) data. So perhaps I need more contacts added to properly test the zaps and that’s my issue, but having just got Act Connect set up I wanted to see if it would do what I wanted! I’m trying to add a Zap to say when a Mailchimp subscriber unsubscribes, it updates the custom ‘Email opt out’ tick field to TRUE. So I know the trigger is ‘New unsubscriber in Mailchimp’ but then do I need an action to ‘find or create contact’ or is it just ‘update contact’?  When I say ‘update contact’, a required field is the contact I want it to update but shouldn’t it be dynamic? How do I tell it what to match against (which should be the ‘E

  Hi there,   I would like a zap to do the following please.   between: Acuity scheduling and Active Campaign   When a client books a meeting via Acuity scheduling, then on the Active Campaign Deal- the Deal is then moved to a different stage in the pipeline.   the clients can be identified by either their first and last names, or even easier- their email address.   The client with their email address would already be entered into Active Campaign, it’s simply moving them to a different stage in the pipeline.   Can you please tell me if/how this is possible?

My question: I have a google sheet export with our customer information from our custom made CRM (kinda oldskool)  Its got 260 colomns and about a 1500 rows.  I want to update my contacts in Active campaign, on a weekly basis.  So I’ve copied alle the fields to AC, set up an export and connected through a zap. My plan is to;   -weekly export all this data.  -delete the data inside, add the fresh export -when a certain cel changed, it triggers   I dont want Zapier, thinking ive added 1500 rows (on a weekly basis) Do I just turn of the zap, do my thing, and turn it back on?  (and does every change in a cel counts as a task?)   Hope to hear from you!  Cheers, Milko Amsterdam

Hi,  I wish to make a trigger whereby: Adding a new row to google sheet → add checklist item to a specific card in Trello. - Use column B (card title) to assign which card to add the item.  - Use column C (assignment) to create the checklist item.  Example: For example, a row may have “Shopping List” for Column B and “Buy Fruit” for Column C. I would like this to add a checklist item to the Shopping List card in Trello.  A row may have “House Work” for Col B and “Clean Bathroom” for Col C. I would like this to add a checklist item titled “Clean Bathroom” to the House Work card in Trello.   Subject (col B) Assignment (col C) Shopping List Buy Fruit Housework Clean Toilet Shopping List Return chocolate   For example, if I created the following rows in my Google Sheet I would like it to add 1 item to the checklist in my Housework Card and 2 items to the checklist in my Shopping List Card I’m struggling to figure out how to do this using the existing “Create Checklist Item in Card” trig

Formatter Tool: Issue With Formatting Phone Number... What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hi there.  I am attempting to format a phone number in order to remove the parenthesis, dashes and spaces.  I have done this a number of times in other zaps and have not run into any issues. For some reason, on the zap sequence I am building today - the phone number formatter is not working properly. Can LinkedIn "Create Share Update" mention a user or company?

In LinkedIn, when you create a post, you can use “@” mentioning for either users or companies. Is this supported by Zapier’s "Create Share Update" LinkedIn action? In LinkedIn, the potential target users or companies reveal themselves in a dropdown type input form, and of course there are many thousands of permutations… If Zapier gave LinkedIn, say… This post would mention @Bill Gates, the founder of @Microsoft, that big company … how would it handle it? I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

WooCommerce status query after placing an order

I try to send a mail after a certain period of time to everyone with a certain status in WooCommerce.  1. I connect to WooCommerce and read the order 2. I am setting a delay for 3 days 3. I set a filter that only orders with the status "on-hold" will be considered 4. after that i send a mail My problem now is that during these 3 days the order status may have changed. How do I get this information into my zap? I do not see any possibility for an update.  Thanks for your support Tom

Running a mysql query for custom rows as often as there are new rows from the query

Hey there,  I am currently kind of stuck with a zap. My goal is to save each day on a specific time certain rows from our database into a google sheet file. So far no problem at all, but as for the MySQL custom query I am kind of stuck. The query works just fine, though I only get one row at a time.  Is there a way to repeat the query as long as there are some rows not included in my google sheet for that specific date?
