Data field sometimes does not get pulled

I have a Zap from ActiveCampaign to Vcita. It's triggered by a 'New automation webhook', which gets called in AC at the end of an automation. Part of that automation involves setting the value in a custom field. 99%, the Zap pulls the value from the field correctly. But sometimes it does not pull the value of the field, instead passing a blank value to Vcita. But the contact in ActiveCampaign shows a non-blank value. Why?

Normally there would be a "Marketing Source" field set in step one above. For someone reason it is not in this instance. Why?

Hi @ZapBang!

Is it possible that the Marketing Source is added to the contact after the automation webhook is sent? That's the most common explanation for this type of empty field.

If that isn't possible, then my next question would be if any of the contacts that have had the missing field have anything in common eg do they all have the same marketing source? That might help us to identify the reason for the field not being present.
