How do I create a Zap to push Slack messages into a specific channel's Canvas?

Tomorrow

Hi everyone,

I'm a Community Manager for a Slack non profit workspace and once a week I like to collect useful posts and links into a single post, which, as you can imagine is very manual.

My solution was to create a zap whereby messages are pushed into a Google Doc, from where I then copy paste the content into a single message (thread) as a summary. However, that still means formatting and linking to each message.

Now that we have Canvas, I wonder if it's possible to push the messages into the specific channel's Canvas?

Thank you

Hi @Tomorrow

Good question.

The Slack Zap app does not have any triggers/actions available yet for Canvas.

It doesn’t appear the Slack API has endpoints available for Canvas yet.

So until Slack makes webhooks/API endpoints available for Canvas, the Slack Zap app won’t work with Canvas.
