Zap turned off trigger for Zapier Manager does not apply to folder?

We used to have a zap that is triggered by Zapier Manager > Zap Turned Off where it sends us an email alert when any zap is turned off within a specific folder.

However, I recently noticed this stopped working.  The trigger only works if we specify a single Zap.

However, it does NOT work for all zaps in the folder.  The description (below) indicates this should work for all Zaps in the folder.  Is this a known issue/bug?

This is a strange one and sorry you’re having issues with this. The Zapier Manager app is heavily tied into your email settings, that’s typically the most common cause of missing or reduced number of email alerts. 

 

Would it be possible to head into your settings, and under Email Notifications and select one of the two options?

Thanks.  I’m already on “Always (recommended)”.

To be clear, I’m sending the email alert with the “Email by Zapier” (not the one in the setting).  I’m using Email by Zapier because I want to trigger the email when the zaps within a folder gets turned off (not just when it fails).  Also there are some custom information I want to include in the email.

It is not triggered at all. No errors.

If I narrow the Zap to only trigger when a specific Zap is turned off, then it works fine.

If I broaden the Zap to trigger for a folder (all Zaps in the folder), then it does not work.

The only ‘hunch’ I have is that all the zaps in this folder are ‘code with Zapier’ (python, javascript custom code) type zaps.  So maybe that stops it from working?
