Hello there,

I have a zap that counts how many submissions.

For some reason two zaps started together at the exact time and when it reached the step to pull the current count, they both returned same result and updated google sheet with the same number.

How can I avoid that? should zapier play the zap one at a time not simultaneously?

if it does not, how can I avoid this? im just using a google sheet column to update the count

it pulls the current number, add one, then update.

Hi @Castorcontracting

You’ll need to add a Delay After Queue step to the Zap: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-delays-to-zaps#delay-after-queue

More advanced would be to use Storage: https://zapier.com/apps/storage/integrations#triggers-and-actions

@Troy Tessalone

they are the same zap - for some reason they both played at the same time.

and they both did the same count -

is that normal for both zaps to play together? or something is effy?

Hi @Castorcontracting
It’s unclear based on that screenshot what the Gmail Zap trigger is for that Zap.

Check your Zap Runs to see if the DATA OUT for each is different: https://zapier.com/app/history/
