Remove Users from Wordpress

Hello,

I use convertkit and I figured out how to add new users who sign-up. How would I remove users who unsubscribe. I know how to remove users from LearnDash courses, but I’d like to remove them from wordpress completely. Is there another app Zapier can remove users from based on unsubscribes from ConvertKit or removes from LearnDash?

Thanks for your time.

@donnie

The only way this would be possible is to use Wordpress’s API and a Zapier webhook step:

https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/

https://zapier.com/page/webhooks/

Can this be done with ConvertKit? I see MailChimp has the ability to build a webhook, I don’t see a custom mode in ConvertKit to do so.

Do you have a recommendation for freelancers that have experience setting up this automation using ConvertKit? I’m not against moving to MailChimp if they have the ability to remove users easier.

The issue here isn’t with which email app you use - it could be CC or MC.

The issue here is having Zapier remove the users in Wordpress - for that you’d need the webhook+API setup I suggested.

@AndrewJDavison_Luhhu  thanks, I was able to solve the issue with a cronjob written in PHP. It automatically removes anyone from my database with the CC tag of Unsubscribed.

Appreciate the help.

I´m having the same “issue” and would be interested in a detailed “manual” how to do it either with webhooks or with a cronjob. I´m using MailChimp and Wordpress of course.

I must say: I´m not a developer ;-)

Thanks

Michael
