Ever time I try to set up my Microsoft To-Do, to link an event/reminder in my Outlook and Gmail clander(or anything else with it for that matter)  I am prompted to sign up for a premium account. I only want to create a couple of personal zaps, and I am trying to figure out why I can't do this with Microsoft To-do on a free subscription.

Hi @Cy3berOdyssey!

When you create a new Zapier account, you’re automatically enrolled in a free 14-day trial of our Professional plan.

If you’re outside of the trial period, some of the reasons you could be prompted to upgrade your account would be:

  1. You’re trying to use an app that’s in our Premium category.
  2. You’re adding more than 2 total steps in your Zap (the trigger step + 1 action step). So a filter or Formatter step, for example.
  3. You’ve exceeded the task limit for the free plan.

Are any of those items true in your case? If not, you shouldn’t have any problems creating Zaps on the free plan :)
