How to use a specific shopify order as a trigger event

Hi there,

I am trying to connect a SPECIFIC order from shopify to Ez texting. I am hoping I can set the trigger event in Zapier to only pull customer information if they order a specific product in my store. I have two product options for purchase and ony want the trigger to go off if one is purchased.

Any ideas on how I can navigate this issue? The dropdown options for the trigger event only offer “new order” not “order of Product A” for example.

Thanks!

Try adding a Filter step to the Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Hey @Troy Tessalone thanks so much! This is the message I am getting when I try to connect one of my tags from shopify.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks!

That means the data from the sample record you’re using from the Trigger step would not have passed the Filter step criteria.

Doesn’t mean anything is wrong with the Filter step per se.

You can select a different sample record to use or load more examples.
