I am trying to send a Gmail email with information from a row of a Google Sheet spreadsheet once a month at a certain day and time.
I tried to fire an email with Google Calendar, but I can't find how to get the data from Google Sheets to compose the variable fields of the email.

Hi @MarioRoldan

Can you please elaborate on what you’re trying to do?

What email app will you be using? (e.g. Gmail, Mailchimp, etc.)

Check out the available triggers/actions/searches for GSheets: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/integrations#triggers-and-actions

@MarioRoldan

Try using the Schedule app: https://zapier.com/apps/schedule/integrations

Add a GSheets Lookup Row action to the Zap.

Hey @MarioRoldan, hope you’re well, I just wanted to check in here!

For this particular workflow I would recommend including a unique value in the calendar event description or including the email in the row inside the spreadsheet.

You could then use a Find Spreadsheet Row action for Google Sheets in the zap to search for the row that contains that email.

The Google Calendar trigger should include the email of the invitee, so that can be a solid search value for a Find Spreadsheet Row action. Once you’re pulling the row information successfully, that data can be assign to the Gmail email body along with any other data you need.
