I’m trying to set up a Zap pulling Google Calendar data from a specific calendar. It finds the calendar but when it tries to retrieve data it’s only retrieving generic test data and not actual data. This is what I get:

id

12345

creator__email

test@example.com

description

Test Event

end__dateTime

2020-07-21T16:55:15-04:00

end__dateTime_pretty

Jul 21, 2020 04:55:15 PM

start__dateTime

2020-07-21T16:55:15-04:00

start__dateTime_pretty

Jul 21, 2020 04:55:15 PM

summary

This is a test event.

Can you send a screenshot of your set up?

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem as wiseguy above. Impossible to retrieve a true event that exists. The test data is always the same (see below) : an event that does not exist.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Hi @Maxime!

Google Calendar can be a little tricky in terms of getting a data sample. If you’re using Event Start or Event End as the trigger can you try doing the following:

Event Start: Create a test event that has started within the past hour. Then re-test the trigger step.

Event End: Create a test event that has ended within the past hour. Then re-test the trigger step.

Could you give that a shot to see if it helps you get a real data sample?
