Gmail to Followup Boss Intergration - Zapier, Actions do not match to Gmail selections

Gmail to Followup Boss Intergration - Zapier,  Actions do not match to Gmail Information, specifically, the Phone Number of the Contact. 

The drop downs tend to be code or gibberish, so selecting the correct action is just blind luck. Very limited selections. I have spent hours/days on this.

Hi @mnchris

Sounds like you may need to do email parsing to get data points from the body of the email.

Try using an email parsing app such as these:

Mailparser: https://zapier.com/apps/mailparser/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Parser by Zapier: https://zapier.com/apps/email-parser/integrations#triggers-and-actions

What FUB action are you trying to use?

I have been trying all the ACTION options given. Nothing works.

Hey @mnchris! Just wanted to follow up here, were you able to get your Zap up and running following Troy’s recommendations? I believe Troy mentioned you might need to add a step to your Zap for email parsing, to pull the relevant info from Gmail to send to Follow Up Boss. If you need further help troubleshooting, I’d follow the above suggestion to post some screenshots for us. 🙂
