I need to know if I can create a zap, with Dropbox and Airtable with the following flow: take the url of a dropbox file and paste it in an airatble record. is this possible?

could you tell me how?

I have in a dropbox folder almost 1,500 files, which I must pass the url to a base in airtable.

thanks

Hi @Nacho G

Keep in mind Zaps work when turned ON for new data going forward.

So you’d have to use a new Dropbox Folder and move all the existing Files into the new Folder in order to trigger the Zap.

Also, keep in mind that there are limits to be aware of when triggering Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/troubleshoot/behavior/rate-limits-and-throttling-in-zapier

Steps

  1. Trigger: Dropbox - New File in Folder
  2. Action: Airtable - Create Record

OK thank you. I get it. In any case, if the zap can work, you should copy those files to a new folder, so that the zap recognizes them as new files. But the function of the zap that I need do you know if it exists?
