Airtable trigger only for particular value in a specific field

I have set up zaps from airtable to slack&github connected to a specific base and table. However, I dont wnat each new record to be zapped, but only if the value in my ‘priority’ column is 1 or 2 (not 3 or 4). Can zaps be customized to such a specific degree?

You have two options here.

  1. Filter your Airtable view and use “New Record in View” as your trigger.
  2. Use Paths for a conditional Zapier workflow. 

The former is simpler, but messier. The latter is a bit more complicated, but cleaner on the Airtable side.

As a simpler alternative to Paths in the Zap can use a Filter step: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help
