Uploading document to Dropbox from Monday

Hello,

I am new to using Zapier.  I was curious if anyone is familiar with taking a document from a monday board/task and it being sent to a dropbox folder with a zap.

Not sure if any of these Zap triggers will return the File Object/URL from Monday:

 

May have to leverage the Monday API: https://api.developer.monday.com/docs/files-queries

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app as an action step: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Hi @dschmidt! The triggers in Zapier do not return the files you upload (just tested). So you will have to look into the Monday API

Fun Fact: Both my name (Zubair) and ⁦‪Zapier‬⁩ are written in the same way in Arabic: زبير

Hi friends! I wanted to pop in and consolidate some of the answers in this thread into one.

OOP. After double checking turns out allowing files to be accessible on New Item on Board or Column Value Changed triggers is an active feature request. 🙃

I went ahead and added your vote to that,  @dschmidt! While I don’t have an ETA for when or if this will get implemented we’ll email ya if that takes place and keep this thread updated.
