OAuth2 - Token Revocation

I've made an app in Zapier, but I'm having trouble revoking the authentication tokens. I want to set up a process where when a customer deletes the integration between my software and Zapier, a request is sent to Zapier asking them to remove the connection to my app from their platform. Furthermore, if a customer removes a connection of my app from Zapier, I want to receive either an event notification or a DELETE request on my OAuth2 endpoints so that I can revoke the associated tokens.Although I have previously communicated with Zapier regarding this matter, it appears that they do not support this basic OAuth2 flow. Therefore, I would like to ask if anyone could give me some advice on how to achieve the same result using alternative methods.https://oauth.net/2/token-revocation/https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7009.html

Repeated session-auth requests?

I can’t seem to figure out why Zapier keeps re-authenticating even though there aren’t any 401 errors. You can see that the test request comes back consistently with a 200 response, but is followed by new authentication requests. I’m hitting rate limits on the /api-token-auth/ endpoint because of this. Create beforeRequest that performs a GET request

Calendly to zoom and Mysql integration

Hi,We have a requirement that whenever the user is redirected to calendly app from our website, we have to fetch the meeting and participant information from any account the user has logged in and insert the data into our mysql database. The events created in the logged in calendly account should also be created in the zoom account they have logged in. The users may have their own calendly and zoom accounts. We have multiple clients and we should also fetch from which organization they have logged in. Please help ASAP. Thanks,Pavithra T

Getting an 2635 Error when using the Facebook Conversions

Hello  I am getting the following error when trying to send a lead event to Facebook Conversions:Unable to load choicesWe're having trouble loading 'Pixel' data. The app returned "(#2635) You are calling a deprecated version of the Ads API. Please update to the latest version: v17.0." The only similar posts I found in the Community were from 2 years ago. Is anyone else having the issue? Thank you Zara

Is meta.zap.user.timezone safe to use in an integration?

I’m developing a new integration (using the Zapier cli) for the company I work for. Our API returns Date-Times in UTC . We think our users would find that confusing so we were thinking it might be good to convert those times into the users local time zone. When developing, we see that the bundle passed to the trigger contains the zap’s timezone at meta.zap.user.timezone. So, in our integration we could just decide to reuse that timezone there and make the adjustments. That said, I don’t see any specific documentation for meta.zap.user.timezone anywhere and the meta.zap.help field includes the words: "This data structure is provided for backwards compatibility,", "and should not be relied upon in a Zapier integration." So this begs the question: is meta.zap.user.timezone stable for us to use? Or will it be problematic?

Only show our own app in the Zap Editor with Embedded Zapier

Hi,This question is regarding Embedded Zapier (Full Zapier Experience).We would like to use Zapier to enable our users to create their own workflows within our app but restrict the actions to only use our app. When testing out the Embedded Zapier it seems like the user would be able to select all 5000+ apps when creating Zaps. I can’t find any option to restrict it to only a single app.Is this use case not supported by Zapier to use it for creating workflows only using 1 single app?

Zap Triggers on Slack Group Mentions

A primary use case for Zapier, IMO, is to respond to group mentions from any public channel.  This is supported for individuals, but not for groups.  I’m curious how many other people in the community want this feature, and whether we can get it prioritized. What are the blockers?What is the timeline for it becoming supported?How many other customers would like this feature?There is a flaky work-around by using a New Mention Trigger and using the group id as a Custom Name.  But getting support on missed triggers is difficult with unsupported use.

Zapier doesn't honor 410 anymore?

Hi all, Since we our app is launched, we manage to remove/disable webhooks created by Zapier when we receive status code 410 error from Zapier but since couple of weeks, it seems that Zapier doesn’t reply with 410 for old /disabled zap but with a usual 200. From documentation: “If your application receives a 410 response, that webhook subscription is no longer active, and you should stop sending data to it.” Doesn’t anyone has this behavior? is it new? Regards,

Use a Zap to update another Zap's credentials?

I created an integration for a vendor’s REST API. The primary endpoint searches for a driver’s record.The vendor requires that the account’ password be reset every 60 days.  They provide an endpoint to get the status of the account and another to change the password.Is there a way to modify the credentials of the integration, using the data that’s returned from the change-password action?  Is it just a matter of setting the `bundle.authData.password` to the new password in the change-password action’s code?

Facing issue in custom API integration for our APP with Basic Auth with Zapier

Hello,I'm a new Zapier user, so please bear with me.I am trying to integrate our app with Zapier. I am getting success and a response with an auth_token and userId using basic auth to hit our login API.(See screenshots)My question is, how can I take the auth_token and userId from the response and use them as input  in the trigger, as they are required to hit any API in our app?I tried with Storage client but it shows  storage cient is undefined Please provide explanation in layman's terms.Thanks in advance!

Validate Rest Hook Subscription

Hi there, I’m attempting to set up a few rest hook triggers that require hook validation. I can see from a few previous posts/replies from @Zane & @ikbelkirasan that this isn’t typically possible, but the service I’m trying to work with (Keap) does support a delayed validation so I’m wondering if can be implemented in the perform.The hook subscribe response comes back as:{ "eventKey": "string", "hookUrl": "string", "key": "string", "status": "Unverified"}With Header: X-Hook-Secret and a verification code as its value. Per their API reference, they say to either verify with the initial response (which I know from your previous replies is asynchronous and not possible) or to use their delayed verification endpoint:POST to /v1/hooks/{bundle.subscribeData.key}/delayedVerify with the same X-Hook-Secret Header value and code pair.  (ref: https://developer.infusionsoft.com/docs/rest/#tag/REST-Hooks/operation/verify_a_hook_subscription_delayed).Is this possible to implement in the perf

Field has inconsistent types, "list" in sample while "string" in output field definition

Hi there! Working on upgrading my company’s Zapier integration. We now have a “tags” taxonomy and when I’m setting up a Search action, they are in the response.While working through “Validate Integration” I’m getting the error:Field “tags” has inconsistent types, "list" in sample while "string" in output field definition Which makes sense, as it is a list. But when I go to adjust: “list” isn’t a type that’s selectable. I just used “string”, but want to ask what’s expected here. Thanks! 🙏🙏

How to put file in body in API Configuration?

Hi - I am trying to achieve Upload file from windows directory to Cloud storage by using the Path of file in body but Zapier does not upload file on Cloud storage because  - API only accept the body file binary format and having the file and when trying the API on Postman by using the body as Binary and Select file from windows directory then API upload file on Cloud.But the issue is i can not find any option as Input type having the file or make the API body as Binary so i pass the Windows Directory path but API not accept this type of body.So please suggest me possible solution.Trying this Code from zapier and its not working where bundle.inputdata.data having the windows directory pathIf Put file by these setting on Postman then API Upload file on cloud

Destination support for bulk transfers

I’m currently building a Zapier destination for Graphy, a data-visualisation platform.After setting up a test Zap using Google sheets as a source, I was able to use the new Transfers feature to bulk-import historical records from a spreadsheet however I noticed this was quite slow (around 10 minutes to import 8 records).I was wondering if there are any plans to allow destinations to support bulk importing of records, using a single call for all records, instead of a call per record?  I’d love to add support to our Integration to allow this, so users can transfer data efficiently, but couldn’t find any related documentation or info on whether that’s possible.

Using oauth2 with React

I’m implementing an app integration with oauth2 where my server is issuing an access token to zapier. Upon clicking connect I redirect to my applications frontend with a login screen to validate the user and go through the oauth2 flow. The access token is issued and the test endpoint works. My issue is when the user hits the approve button my server responds with a redirect url which I redirect with window.location.href = response.redirectUrlAt this point you can see the zapier screen for a short second and the window closes. Is this what is supposed to happen? I assume it’s displaying some sort of success message (since it works). But it seems like kind of a bad user experience since there’s no real validation that the connection worked.

I’m trying to connect to an application which only supports a Hybrid flow grant type. I read that Zapier only supports “Authorization Code” grant type.Has anyone faced this issue and been able to solve it? Thanks

User data from intercom not available || Problem with hydrate

Where to change domain name for existing app?

Hi - I’ve taken over the development of an existing custom Zapier app we’ve built with the Zapier CLI.  All I want to do now is connect our existing app to a new environment hosted on a new domain name (ideally keeping the existing app as is).  So ending up with:Appv1 connecting to old-domain.example.com Appv2 connecting to new-domain.example.net The functionality of the app can remain the same for now.  I just don’t see where the the current domain name (“old-domain.example.com”) is set?  I don’t see it in the Zapier settings for the app and I don’t see it in the code for the app either? Any pointers or guidance appreciated.  Thanks!
