Can I use an external library when developing a Zapier integration?

Hi Zapier community. I’m developing a custom Zapier integration, and therefore also developing my a custom trigger.This trigger uses the “code mode”. Now I have to do some checks on the response body, to determine if the request was valid or invalid (because the underlying API is a Graphql API, it will always respond with status code 200).Can I for example require lodash to make this more easy?In general, what javascript runtime am I developing in here?

.zapierapprc resetting

I am building a zapier app which is using the vm2 module. But for some reason, zapier decides to exclude many files from the module causing the app to error.I am trying to add"includeInBuild": [    "node_modules/vm2/*",    "node_modules/vm2/lib/*.js",  ]to the .zapierapprc file but it doesn’t work.Everytime I link my app to a zapier project, the .zapierapprc goes back to default, deleting those lines.If I just add the lines and runs zapier build, it doesn’t include the files either.What am I doing wrong.

I'm developing a trigger, and I get Token "is expired" sometimes. How do I fix this so the trigger does not throw errors?

Hi Everyone.So I’m developing a Zapier integration against an Graphql Endpoint.Sometimes Zapier sends me an email saying: [Action Required]: Uh-oh! There’s a problem with one of your Zaps When I look at the request, I can see that the underlying endpoint returned “Token is expired”. Now my question is, how do I fix this? I’m using the “Code mode”, so I envision something like: const res = response.json;if (res.expiredError) { // What to do here?} else { return res.someDataPath;}But how do I “inform” the trigger that the token is expired?

Actions for endpoints with no body

I am creating an app in Zapier.My API has several endpoints that do not return a body. Session Auth with grant_type set to client_credentials

I am working on a custom app for Striven. Striven API docs (https://api.striven.com/Help) says Authentication is OAuth 2.0 but since it uses grant_type = client_credentials, Session Auth is what I am using in Zapier App builder. I was able to get access_token via Postman but can’t seem to work it out on Zapier. Postman: Collection Oauth 2.0Token Exchange EndpointTest Endpoint

Wordpress Create post (new method)

Hi, looks like not long ago Zapier closed the possibility of Wordpress (Legacy) post create method. I have to switch to "new" Wordpress post creation (it also requires plugin installation).I'm wondering whether they Zapier using some REST system to create the posts. Zapier could not connect to your account. The `code` parameter is missing from the querystring.

How to use Retrieve Poll trigger when all API calls require a session id from an inital login?

I’m a bit new to this and working with an API that requires a separate username/password login process in order to establish a session ID as a keytoken for use in authentication with all other API calls. Each session only lasts 60 minutes after the last API call. I know I could use a scheduled trigger to automate the login process first, but my preference would be to only run the zap when a new record is found in the data I would like to poll. Is this a common issue or something that is easily handled within the trigger fields that I’m not seeing?  Thanks!

Can we build an integration for an on-premise application?

Hello everybody, I’ve looked this up but didn’t find any clear answer so here I am. We (Combodo) have a web application (iTop) which is NOT in SaaS, each user/customer deploys it on premise on its own server. We would like to build a Zapier integration for them to easily connect iTop with other apps, but we are facing an issue. When building the integration it looks like the application URL used for the authentication must be the same for everybody like if it was a SaaS application. In our case, we would like the Zapier user to fill in its iTop URL along with its credentials. Is that possible? Then when creating actions, we would like to re-use that URL as part of the called URL. Can we do both things? Thanks and have a great day :)Guillaume

How do you define "API Documentation"

We are trying to publish our integration but one field is “API Documentation URL”. When we try to understand what you mean by this, we click on the guidelines here:https://platform.zapier.com/partners/document-support And this says “Coming Soon”…  We are being asked to provide a document but it’s not documented what Zapier wants. So is this meant to be a technical document or more user friendly guide on how to use our integration to make a zap. For example is it something like what LeadPages has done here: https://support.leadpages.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002382371-Integrate-Zapier-With-Leadpages ??? Some examples would be appreciated as I can’t tell what you really want. Also, where is this URL listed for each integration? I can’t find it for the example above - had to find it with a Google search…  Thanks,Peter

Sage Intacct Integration

I am fairly new to Zapier Platform but I’m looking at building out an integration to Sage Intacct. I’m fairly familiar with Intacct’s APIs and have used them regularly in Postman but I’m not sure how to translate the XML requests to have them work in the Zapier Platform. The way Intacct’s APIs work, you can either first retrieve an API session ID with a request and pass that in subsequent requests, OR you can skip retrieving the API session ID and pass the login info in a request. I’m trying to use “Session Auth” to retrieve the session ID. How to fix D004 warning

triggering when a value crosses a threshold

We’re developing a connector for our application and we want it to trigger when a value crosses a threshold. Our API just returns the current value as a number (and there’s not a way to call the API to ask “what was this value 5 minutes ago?”). If the zap could remember the previous value it saw, then our connector’s code could check if (previousValue < threshold && currentValue >= threshold) and only trigger the one time it crosses the threshold.Is this possible?What we’re currently doing is essentially this:return [{ id: value >= threshold ? "above" : "below"}];Zapier thinks it’s a new object when the ID changes, but once Zapier has seen both IDs (“above” and “below”) then it stops triggering. We can append the current date to the ID so it triggers once a day at least, but ideally we’d like to only trigger on transitions (i.e. crossing above or below the threshold).

Issue with OAuth2 Access Token Authorization

I’m trying to setup authorization for a private app that I am working on integrating into our workflow. The organization has provided me with the API documentation, and I can get the authorization and connection to work within Postman, but can’t get the authorization to work within the Zapier Platform UI when using the Oauth2 method. I can get it to work through the Basic Auth method, but of course the access_token expires and I’m constantly having to reconnect. Not able to refresh access_token - Zoho Sprints

Webhooks not catching my data

Hi,My app name is Cflow version 1.4.0. My problem is, “Triggers” not working properly. I am sending JSON data from my application to the webhook URL properly but it not showing in zapier test and not sending to the action app. Please help me to resolve this issue ASAP.
