Trying to create middleware from authentication

Hello,I’m trying to create Authentication middleware for bad status code response. I already try create new function called checkAvailability, it work but it seems like it will trigger everytime I turn on new zapier. also I’m trying to use z.request but I think I can’t do that. And also why it trigger twice?

[feature request] Add last polling time and/or last pulled id in Trigger of type polling

Hello.I’d like to suggest a new feature, i don’t know if this is the right channel to do so; if not, please point me to it.# WhatThe feature is pretty simple, yet it could be extremely useful for developers.It consists in making the last polling datetime (and/or the last id pulled) available in the trigger->”configure your api request” environment.This could be extremely useful for api developers, as if one could pass this information to his backend, the backend could alter the resulting array of objects in order to return only the new elements. Zap works perfectly except not delivering dynamic field data to server when testing action

This post has been edited by a moderator to remove personal information. Please remember that this is a public forum and to remove any sensitive information prior to posting.I created a new Action for the first time using dynamic fields. Testing that and my Zap appears to be working perfectly, right up to the point where some of the data fields are not being delivered to the server.I am using a webhook as the trigger, and test data is being delivered correctly to the trigger test.My action captures that data, all fields are mapped properly, as you can see in the attached picture. But then when I test the action and look at the data delivered to the server, some of the fields are missing.The missing data comes from dynamic fields, so I assume that's my problem, but the action shows all of the expected key/value fields properly. How can it display all of that properly, but then not deliver the data to the server? I’m not sure where to look for the problem since the tests all show the pro

Hey…want to confirm that is zapier send any third party information also?ex. My app is integrated with Zapier on UI interface and i am creating a zap in which i am connecting my app to any third party like google sheet, Facebook etc  and performing a action to save data from third party.Now i want that zapier also return that third party (like google sheet,facebook etc) information or name to my app.Is zapier currently support this feature? if yes then where can i see that information?

Duplicate fields from trigger sample data

Hi Zapier Community,While performing action in Slack or maybe any other integration action the data provided in the sample trigger data get duplicated even though the sample date in getFallbackRealEntry handler is accurate.Here in below image “Entry locale” and other few are repeating with data & no data.Example :  Entry locale is duplicated in below image

Filtering Results Based on inputData

I’m building a custom integration for myself. I’m making an API call to return some shipments with tracking info. That’s all working fine. However, I want the user to be able to set a value for inputData.store_code and then the results be filtered based on their set value. For example, the unfiltered results would look like this: { "sales_order_number": "SO-860444", "merchant_order_number": "186C-1088", "tracking_number": "666000987", "amount": "0.00", "shipped_via": "FedEx Home Delivery", "shipped_on": "2022-07-15T19:32:17Z" }, { "sales_order_number": "SO-1042038", "merchant_order_number": "226C-1025", "tracking_number": "666000123", "amount": "0.00", "shipped_via": "FedEx Ground", "shipped_on": "2022-07-15T19:27:21Z" } I’d want the user to set their store code to something like “186C” and then for the orders to be filtered based on that string appearing in the merchant_order_number.What’s the best way to go about this? How to automate actions for users?

is there any possibility which help me to automate actions for end user? I need to create a zap which will have a trigger and an action. I want end user to use directly that zap. Is there any way it can be achieved? For example in the action I need to select some formats of data to be sent. All those format will be redefined by me, can be used by any user via Zapier.Thank you in advance for help.

Getting Error "We hit an error adding your new account"

I am going to publish zapier custom integration.Using API Authentication, I tried to setup my endpoint url to accept the api key generated by my backend.I have tested it on POSTMAN, and it was working well. But when I was trying to test authentication on zapier integration, it is displaying “We hit an error adding your new account in zapier” authentication failed: The app returned "503". Search Action code to return a matching record versus an array of records

I’ve had good luck getting code tips from the brilliant people in this community so here goes.I’m building a Search Action for an app which has an API with only two GET endpoints, one that gets all records for an object and one that gets a record by ID. I want this Action to find and return the record that matches a field in the my trigger, and if not found, create a new record.Here’s my current API request, which returns all records for the object in an array.Rather than returning all the records, I’d like it to parse the results to find the record in which the field “fruit” matches an input field “fruit” that will contain value “banana” that will come from the trigger, and return only that record (or even just the id of that record since that is all I need in subsequent steps). If no matching record is found with banana as the fruit, I want it to return whatever result will then allow it to use the Create Action that I will have paired with this Search Action.

Unable to change Zapier version

Hello, I’m trying to make changes to version 1.1 of my Zapier integration. However, recently a popup has been preventing me from doing so. I’ve tried doing this on both Firefox and Chrome.  I’m trying to click on the version, so I can change it to my 1.1 version.  But this pop up keeps popping up whenever I hover my mouse over the version so I can change it.

Zapier oauth2 "state" parameter error

We are unable to authenticate zapier using oauth2. While authenticating an error message in popup showing “The state parameters was provided but appears incorrect.”Currently we are generating a random number as ‘state’ parameter.Will zapier provide the state parameter ? static inputField showing warning: "We couldn't find anymore choices"

Hi,We have a CLI based Zapier app and I just noticed that the UI shows a warning, see screenshot. Questions on the capability of the Developer API

Hi there, I'm working on an app that allows users to create a workflow that involves operations from three different apps (Google Calendar, Gmail, and Discord). I've been exploring Zapier's API as a way to accomplish this, but I've run into some challenges. Specifically, I want to provide a way for users to authenticate the other apps directly within my app, rather than having to log in to their Zapier account separately. Then the app will use Zapier to communicate with those third party apps on the backend. Is there a way to use Zapier's API to accomplish this? To provide a bit more context, my app is designed to help users manage their tasks and events across multiple platforms. Unselected option getting set as Empty

I have two dropdowns one for users and one for collections. Leaving Users dropdown blank set’s it to empty as in the image, but leaving collections doesn’t. The problem with Empty state is that it sends the data to webhook as array of empty string → [“”] . How can this be fixed so that it doesn’t set it to empty

How to allow mixed authentication types?

I’m working for a company that supports both types of authentication methods to users: Basic Auth and SSO. Is there a guide to create an integration that the authenciation can support both? Basically having the auth completed done on our website including the forms, so Zapier doesn't collect any username and password or api keys from the user on the start.I see this is done on some of the Zapier apps, such as the Salesforce premium.  Is there a guide for this?

Input designer. Field value with "Allows Multiples" checkbox enabled. Can't set default value.

I’m developing my own Zapier Integration. I see no options to set default values for lists, because “Default value” only supports string. Is there any way to set default values for lists ?

Differences between Integration Versions

Hi,is anybody here working with CLI ( Plugins? Apps? However you call them) and a backend with different versions?So given that the users of our integration are on version 1.x they should see field X,Y on their zap configuration form and users with version 2.x should see X,Y,Z..Is this even possible out of the box?I couldn’t find anything in the docs except a way to share a specific app version with friends,co-workers etc.. https://platform.zapier.com/cli_docs/docs#sharing-an-app-version But I guess that’s exactly what I’m needing for my case, but being done automatically by Zapier based on some version returned by the authentication probably?Also how would we or the users of the zap re-trigger the authentication check once they upgraded to 2.x ?
