Zapier oauth2 "state" parameter error

We are unable to authenticate zapier using oauth2. While authenticating an error message in popup showing “The state parameters was provided but appears incorrect.”Currently we are generating a random number as ‘state’ parameter.Will zapier provide the state parameter ? Missing id property - have read numerous threads and still stuck

logging errors in Visual Builder?

When you click “Switch to Code Mode” in the Visual Builder what’s the correct way to log information in the code? Using console logs gets me no results and using alerts gets me an error message. Is there a way to log extra info to be able to see what I’m doing more clearly? Thanks,

How do i test zapier-cli app in private mode?

I created an app using zapier cli and pushed it. Its in private mode right now. When I try to create a zap and search for my app, it shows it in disabled form with text “By Invite”. I created an account from another email address and invited that user. When I try to create a zap there, same thing happens. can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong?

Standardize API response across 2 variations so that Zapier treats the response fields as the same during configuration

I have a call in a private app for Zapier to retrieve the Metadata of an asset. The call covers both images and videos, which are 2 different endpoints. The only different in the request being whether it says images or videos in the URL: https://api.gettyimages.com/swagger/index.html#/Images/get_v3_images__id_ https://api.gettyimages.com/swagger/index.html#/Videos/get_v3_videos__id_ The response returns mostly the same fields, but as they are wrapped by either images {} or videos {}, Zapier treats them as different fields, which makes it very cumbersome to configure metadata mapping in subsequent steps, as you basically need to test the entire 2 zaps twice, once with an image, once with a video, so that you can map the fields correctly. I’m looking at a way to modify the response structure so that both videos and images fields are considered as the same by Zapier in subsequent steps. I am developing my application using CLI. I have set display.important = true for 3 of my triggers. Can you tell me how they are highlighted?. Initially I thought it would be prioritized to sort in the dropdown menu, but I don't see any difference after changing.Please help!

PerformList returns an array but still complains that it's not an array. Why?

Good day. I’m trying to setup a REST hook and when testing my trigger I’m getting a weird error:With the applicatin/json response text from the API::[{"id":"1738"},{"id":"1739"}] Clearly the result is an array. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I’m sure I’m missing something simple somewhere (I’m using all of the defaults provided by Zapier).

Hello.I’d like to suggest a new feature, i don’t know if this is the right channel to do so; if not, please point me to it.# WhatThe feature is pretty simple, yet it could be extremely useful for developers.It consists in making the last polling datetime (and/or the last id pulled) available in the trigger->”configure your api request” environment.This could be extremely useful for api developers, as if one could pass this information to his backend, the backend could alter the resulting array of objects in order to return only the new elements. Provide a sample data with file.

Hey,I am developing a new Integration using the Zapier Platform. I am getting the following warnings in the Publishing Tasks:Static Sample Is RequiredWhen a user sets up a trigger, they need sample data to be returned in order to have fields available to map in the subsequent steps. If testing the trigger returns no live results, we use static sample data as a fallback.It's very important that the structure of an object from the actual trigger and in the sample data are identical. Otherwise, users could map fields that don't exist in the live results, which results in a broken Zap.See Sample Data for more details on this.Error code D012But my Action just returns a hydrated file. Can we provide more error details to the user?

Aloha all! First time we’ve run into the question: the user-facing error message is getting truncated when sending back a long string (In cases where there’s a lot of data for the user to take action on).Is there a way to return an object to the Zapier editor so that the user can drill down further instead of getting a truncated message?Or are we just limited to a character limit for the string and that’s that?If so, what’s the character limit? I am developing a zapier integration. When I test my trigger, I can see the polling response with ids. For testing, I added a Gmail action and sent a test email. The problem is that the ids change once a month. I can not get emails for the batch when I activate the zap. How can I solve the issue?

Resource not passing down outputFields

Hello! I’m currently building a Zapier integration. I have a resource - let’s call it “pet”. “pet” has list, search, and create actions defined. Now, since all of these have the same output format, I’d like to define `outputFields` and `sample` once in the main resource object and be done with it. The docs suggest that this is possible, and that my actions should automatically inherit `outputFields` and `sample` from the parent resource. However, when I try to test these functions with a Zap I created, the `label` for each of the output fields do not appear:This is supposed to say “Pet ID”, for example; the field is defined in the resource as follows:export const pet = { ..., list: ..., create: ..., search: ..., outputFields: [ { key: 'id', label: 'Pet ID', type: 'string', }, ],}How can I get my resource to automatically pass down its outputFields/sample to its actions (list, create, search in this case)?I found that if I manually go into each of the actions
