Dev console errorHello! Am getting the below error when I try to load developer.zapier.com to go into my hosted app. The error is same when I try to access  the app page directly https://developer.zapier.com/app/102057/. Anyone facing the same issues ?

App Approval Process by Zapier

About the review time or process for an existing app.It seems that once you’ve submitted your app to Zapier, they will contact you within a week to start the review process. I do understand that this can take longer depending on the back and forth between myself and Zapier.My question is the review process when your app is already approved and you want to submit a new major version for approval. Does this also go through the same process as the first time? I assume it will as they will need to test the new Trigger/Action or API endpoint that was updated?The minor version (text update) can be updated and published and will be available in a few minutes / hours to your users?Thanks in advance,Have a lovely evening,

Beginner Question: Can you publish your app with only Triggers?

Hi there, I am new to Zapier and wanted to know. Is it possible to publish your app with only Triggers? The reason is that I only want to push information from my website to Zapier and then other web apps added in the Zap. I do not want to receive any new information (New Customer, etc) from other web apps yet.Unless I totally misunderstood what an Action is for. Because I understand it as.Triggers - push information to Zapier to be used by another web app (push new customer information)Action - receive information from Zapier that was pushed by the Triggered App (my app in this case to do something with that data - create a new row in google sheet with the customer) Sorry if I missed the information in the documentation. It seems that I do need an Action (to push data to my API to store the information) but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

Possible Zapier bug?

Hi everyone,I’ve faced one issue several times and thought I’d share it with the community to see if it’s a known bug in the system or if I am doing something wrong.In a zap, the backend value for some mapping is generally denoted by {{numericalNumber_nameOfField}}. This value then gets translated to the real value.  Front-end value is: QW7PS022C0B90 Backend value is shown in highlighted portionIssue here is Zapier should’ve translated the backend value into the frond-end value and my search action would have worked fine. I think it's a bug? if it’s or not - please recommend a solution.

Use CloudKit Web Services' authentication flow in combination with Zapier

Hi all,I'm developing a Mac app that uses CloudKit as its back-end. Some of my users are requesting the ability to ingest and extract data via an automation/integration service such as Zapier. For this, I need to introduce a web API.I am planning to use CloudKit Web Services to access the app's data. This data is user-specific and hence, resides in a private database. As a result, CloudKit requires user authentication as described here.Essentially the user needs to be redirected to an Apple-hosted authentication page. After successful authentication, an authentication token is provided that can be used for data operations. Similar to how OAuth2 works, but different enough to not work with Zapier's (or probably any other similar services) supported authentication schemes.Who has done something similar? What are my options? I want to keep things as simple as possible and make my web API's implementation as thin as possible.Thanks.Niels

Refresh token - Only absolute url error

I have implemented zapier for multi tenant app. I have added form field for sub domain and Oauth 2 is working fine and able to connect.But refresh token is not working for dynamic sub domain. It always shows error like : Only absolute URLs are supported. Any help will be much appreciated.Thanks

Trigger input that is a search

Hello, there!We want to create a hidden trigger that should select a user as an input. The trigger’s setup should be the following:first, select organization via a dropdown after that, search for a user (it should work only on the selected dropdown)And the final input that we want to work is the user itself. Unfortunatelly, I haven’t found a way to get that functionality. I have tried to create a hidden trigger that has a dynamic field for organization selection and a dynamic field for the user search. It worked fine, it gave back the list of the mathing users based on the search criteria. After that my next step would just to put that hidden trigger as a parameter of my other trigger. And with this embedded version, it didn’t even showed the inputs of the hidden trigger. As I have checked, it is possible to implement it (Trello has similar functionality), but I have no idea how could I implement it. Do you have any advice on that?Thanks, Zsolt

How to force an update in api configuration when fields are added to input designer

I am using the Integration online tool to create a ActionI need to add additional fields to the Input designer , but when i do the api configurator does not add the fields either in form mode or code mode. Is there a way to force the update without starting from scratch again?

newbie - can I redirect the zap at completion to go back to another page on my website?

Hi I need to do more automation and link my website to my financials and calendar systems.   I have created and tested the first zap which I think will work.   the workflow is to access my calendar system (booklikeaboss), then payment (paypal) and invoice (xero).  I have done some basic zap creations and tests and all is good so far,  but the question is I think more basic.   as a last step of the zap, can I redirect the workflow back to a specific page within my website?

Rarely changing ids?

I am developing a zapier integration. When I test my trigger, I can see the polling response with ids. For testing, I added a Gmail action and sent a test email. The problem is that the ids change once a month. I can not get emails for the batch when I activate the zap. How can I solve the issue?

Add input fields dynamically after a dropdown selection

Hello, I am creating an integration for my compagny and I can’t figure out how to add input fields dynamically. I will illustrate my issue with an example :I have a first dropdown in which I can select a user  Depending on the user I selected, I have another dropdown with many fields like adress, name, date of birth, etc…. The idea is to be able to select as many fields as I want to edit into my second dropdown and generate dynamically one input field for each field selected to map it to a Google forms.  I am able to create the two dropdown but I see no information in the documentation on how I can implement the generation of input fields according to a selection ? Does anyone have an idea ? Is there any other solution ?  Thank you

Ordering Output fields

Hi,Is it possible to specify an order for the output fields? We are using dynamic output fields to generate the labels to display for each property returned in the output, but getting the list of these results in the next actions always shows the fields in a different order than what was specified.

Newbie question - use authentication response payload in subsequent triggers

I have a JSON response from the authentication step that includes a key pair with a customer ID value that I then need in the next trigger as a form parameter for a POST to retrieve some data for that customer. I am probably being very dim but I just can’t how to reference API call response data in the Zapier code.

Same children fields in a different parent fields

I have a `create` with a fields structure like:inputFields: [ { key: 'parent1', children: [ { key: 'child1', label: 'Child1', type: 'string', }, { key: 'child2', label: 'Child2', type: 'string', }, ], }, { key: 'parent2', children: [ { key: 'child1', label: 'Child1', type: 'string', }, { key: 'child2', label: 'Child2', type: 'string', }, ], },]And in this case only the `parent2` group will be displayed in UI of the action.Isn’t it a bug in UI as parent keys are different?

Can I use Zapier to connect my App to Various CRMs

Hi AllCustomers are requesting our App’s data in their CRMs. Conversely, our app also needs data from a customer’s CRM. Is their a way, we can use Zapier to have our app to talk bi-directionally with various CRMs such as Salesforce, Dynamic CRM, Zoho etc.

REST Hook not performing action and apparently doesn't accept the data pushed to hookUrl? But no error message.

Some background: I have got everything set up to use REST Hooks except the last part.I have the subscription and delete subscription API endpoints set up and working.I receive the hookUrl parameter upon subscription.If I post to hookUrl without any data I get an action triggered (though with blank data, so no use there).The problem:If I post to hookUrl with data in the body of the request, the response still says OK but no action is triggered.  There must some error going on but I’m not being told about it. Can someone give me insight into exactly what my POST data should look like?  The documentation doesn’t quite say it.  It says an array, but I am providing an array in “body”, just like the array I was using previously for “polling” mode but still getting this silent error.

User Authentication accounts (OAUTH2)

What is the best way to go about making sure transactions are created by the actual end users creating them when calling API’s. We use the Zoho invoice and estimate API’s which have accounts setup via the out of the box API’s within zapier and also we have custom API’s configured with OAUTH2,  given that the OAUTH2 deals primarily with authorization and not user authentication every time we create an estimate or invoice via Zapier the created by user is stamped on the host application as the central account user that configured the connected account in Zapier.  Is there a way to set the users client credentials to be used with OAUTH2 so that when the API is physically called it recognises the transaction is being created by an actual user of the application or does this require a feature on the API side to handle this?

Instant Trigger deduplication not working

Hi,At TeamworkIQ we’re creating our first Instant Trigger. This trigger is returning a set of items it fetches from our server. Each of the item returned has a uniq id property, but calling the webhook that triggers the zap more than one time will continue to run the next steps with all of the items in the result, it is not filtering out those that have been seen in a previous execution by the id.The perform operation of this trigger is actually shared with another Poll Trigger in our Integration, so we could test the same trigger in both Poll and Instant types, and receiving the same results.

Instant Trigger Authentication is possible?

HiAt TeamworkIQ, we’d like to implement a security mechanism for the Webhook requests to be authenticated.Receive a secret as a response for the Subscribe operation that needs to be stored in the Zap context.Validate a header sent on each webhook request before triggering the zapIs it possible to store a property received on the subscribe request in the bundle object for the zap? Or any other place?CleanedRequest documentation mentions we could access the headers property, but trying to test this, I’ve only been able to get the body payload and a querystring property. Is it possible to have this validation on every webhook request received and accessing their header before proceeding to run the zap?

Hello Team,We are trying to connect Salesforce with Zapier, however, we are receiving the below error. In Salesforce, the user I am trying to login has IP restrictions. Hence, it would be great if you could provide us with the IP ranges used so that we can add the same to Salesforce and see if it works. Thank you!

Instant Trigger Zap turns off on every webhook request

Hi,I’m creating a simple demo of an Instant zap using the Recipe sample code for a Hook Trigger, and sending a Slack message as a second action. After the Zap is tested and turned on, every time I do a request to the Webhook URL the zap ends up turning off. The Zap editor doesn’t show any alert/error apart from showing the zap off. Testing both steps are ok.The Monitoring tool doesn’t show any error log, only the webhook request received. No additional information.Zap history doesn’t show any record of the zap running before it is turned off.I createda a “Zap turned off” alert, but the data provided doesn’t have any useful information apart from the time the zap was paused, again, editor, history and monitor doesn’t show any error logs. I am using the CLI to create this trigger, is there a way to get a log from there?

"We could not find a client" message On testing a unsubscribe trigger

 On sending the subscription request via postman, it returns the below response as expected. Now I want to setup the unsubscribe trigger in my Zapier intergration account but it is giving me the below message. Please advice. I got the following response on executing the webhook.{    "id": "e8940575-13ac-4d4f-9cb9-2e0ab6f6b256",    "request_id": "60005fd2-fa1b-455b-bc88-15bc7f7a00f0",    "attempt": "60005fd2-fa1b-455b-bc88-15bc7f7a00f0",    "status": "success"}I then used the “id” property from the above response as a parameter for the unsubscribe request like below. I then saved the API configuration and proceeded to the next step which is Test the API Request. On click of Test Trigger I got the below message. What does this indicate? Do I need to setup anything else in my Zapier Integration Account?  Can someone please adivce on how to fix this ? Thanks

How to edit label of a dynamic field

Hello, I’m building an integration and I have in an action a dynamic dropdown followed by another dropdown which values depends on the first one. In order to do the second dropdown, I used a dynamic field which returns the following : return z.request(options) .then((response) => { response.throwForStatus(); const results = response.json; const field = { key : 'champ_type', choices: results.items.map(x => x['fieldId']) } return field;My problem is that I get a list of fieldId and I would like those items to have an understandable label ( in  my case, it’s fieldLabel instead of fieldId). Can someone help me with this ?  Thank you. :)
