Can dictionary key's be pulled from a trigger?

Is it possible to have the keys for a dictionary type to be values retrieved via a trigger? Use Case: Perform a GET for preset values which are presented to the user when specifying a dictionary key.

Creating Integration Action input designer

Is there a faster/easier way to create the input designer of an action? Or do I have to manually enter each item that will need to be mapped? My understanding is that this is what we are expecting to be sent to our webhook. i.e. what the Zap creator will have to map out on their end. I’d assume there was an easier way to input these?

I want to add multiple Line Items to my Zapier Integration

Hello,I’m creating a Zapier integration and I have a field like this in my API requirements:{"records":[ {"field1":"val1","field2":"val2"}, {"field3":"val3","field4":"val4"}]}But I guess there isn’t a way of adding multiple dictionaries on Input Designer. I tried handling it with CLI but that didn’t work for me either.So far, I used CLI to create a line item with {link:true}. Fields in Records Line Item are populated dynamically as user adds fields from the input above. I just need records to accept a set of fields not just one.

Is it possible to clean user's selected option in dynamic dropdown after change selected option from other dynamic dropdown?

Hi, So I have 3 dynamic dropdown list which depended each other, for example:When user select option from list 1 then → list 2 appearing with values option according to selected value from list 1.When user select option from list 2 then → list 3 appearing with values option according to selected value from list 2. So far so good and i success to manage it using the relevant API calls and the “alter dynamic” option.My problem start when after all those steps above, if the user change again the selected option from list1, then my expected result will expose only the new values in list 2 where list 3 should be disappearing. In addition, the previous selected value from list 2 should be clean as well. Is it possible to implement it?

Best practice for resthook security - invalid signature

I’m developing a Zapier app, via the CLI, that uses RestHooks.I want to support signed webhooks, so when the Zapier user, when making a zap, creates the integration with my app, in addition to putting in their api key (for my service), they can optionally add in a shared secret, which will be used to sign the webhooks from my service to Zapier. I’m checking the signatures in the “perform” function, but I’m not sure what the best practice is, when the verification fails.Right now, I’m throwing a `z.errors.HaltedError`, but this is not doing what I expected.When I send a bad signature, when I fetch logs, I see the HaltedError, but the customer’s Zap shows as “Success”, including data about the second step in the Zap.Zapier is also returning a 200 response to the webhook - which is fine, as we don’t really want the attackers to keep trying.So, my question is, when an inbound webhook fails the validation (ie, it is being replayed or is otherwise an attack), what error should I throw so tha

Get trigger app name

Hi there,I’m trying to integrate our app (Gameball) with Zapier, but I had a problem.I need the trigger app name & trigger app event to use it in our action configurations, so is it possible to get them? and how can I get them?for example, someone use Gmail as a trigger app and New Email as a trigger event & Gameball as action.I need to get this information (Gmail, New Email) inside action configurations. Thanks all.

PerformList returns an array but still complains that it's not an array. Why?

Good day.  I’m trying to setup a REST hook and when testing my trigger I’m getting a weird error:With the applicatin/json response text from the API::[{"id":"1738"},{"id":"1739"}] Clearly the result is an array.  Any ideas would be much appreciated.  I’m sure I’m missing something simple somewhere (I’m using all of the defaults provided by Zapier).

How to process Action errors in a meaningful way

What is the proper way of handling or processing errors when defining an Action for an integration. Right now if the Action web-service call fails during Zap setup/creation there is only a cryptic message with an HTTP status code displayed. The nicely worded error message that is returned is not displayed to the user. I assume that I am doing something wrong in my API Request code. Is it possible to include a flag to indicate the data sent for an Action is just test/sample data?

When setting up a Zap, the Action must be tested which involves sending test/sample data to the destination. During zap setup this may be test, fake, or sample data. As far as I know, the destination has no way know to ignore this data. Is it possible to configure an extra piece of data or value, to include in the Action payload during Zap setup tests, to indicate that this is a test so that it would be possible for the destination system to tell that this is sample data and can be ignored?

Issue with OAuth2 Access Token Authorization

Hi, my organization has asked me to create an integration between Lazada API and Zapier. I found out that this can be made through Zapier Developer Platform. After exploring and testing if for a while, Lazada API use standard OAuth v2 for authentication. I have setup the Authentications for my Zapier app based on guidelines in the documentations. However, the Zapier cannot find access_token field in the Lazada API. Why am I not getting the Subscription Id in my Unsubscribe endpoint using Rest Hook?

I have defined Reshooks for subscribe and unbsubscribe. The subscribe endpoint returns the targeturl as a response. I use this url in postman which returns me the subscription id. I then pause My Zap which calls my Unsubscribe Endpoint but the Id is coming as null.
