How to make text encoding in live Zap the same as test Zap?

When I upload a test file with a Zap to my server the contents are in JSON format as a long string. When I upload a file with a live Zap the text is parsed onto different lines. I don’t want the text to be parsed. About 4 months ago this was not an issue but now is. How do I turn off this auto encoding so that the test and live Zap are the same?

Is Files by Zapier Hampered by Zapier text boxes not supporting as many characters as ucf8 encoding?

I am trying to pull the raw binary text of a pdf to upload to an S3 upload link, but it doesn’t seem to be working because zapier isn’t setup to handle all of the necessary characters that are used in ucf8 encoding. I could be wrong, but this seems to be the issue.

Custom actions with Bullhorn returns 401 Bad BhRestToken

Hello, After testing and reviewing all use cases with Bullhorn.I have noticed that when I use a normal action in the ZAP I do not have any 401 Bad BhRestToken error messages returned to me.However when I use custom actions in the ZAP or even when I test the custom action itself I receive a 401 Bad BhRestToken error messages after 30 min if no activities with actions or zaps.Please find proof with date and time of both actions in the screenshots attached. This shows that the custom actions seem to have an authentication issue.Have you ever had any issues like this? Many thanks,Olivier

Can't get my Static Sample Data to show up

I’m working on getting my app validated but can’t get passed it wanting to compare the static data. When I build a zap with my Trigger, I’m not seeing my static data show up. It also seems to be mixing my Static and non-static example data. Maybe I’m missing something here...

How to Retrieve Zap Execution Status and Output Data?

Hello! We've implemented a Zapier trigger enabling our users to retrieve data and transfer it to various apps within the Zapier ecosystem. I'm curious to know whether it's possible for our server to receive a notification once a Zap completes its execution, along with details on the data generated by the final step. For instance, let’s say we’re sending some user data through our trigger (posting it to your webhooks) which is then used by the used for maybe Zoho ticket creation. Is it possible for me to get the ticket ID and other information back to my servers? I’m aware of actions, but in that case user will have to set up our action at the end. We want to know whether it’s possible to do it with the trigger that we’ve developed rather than an action. Any insights on achieving this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How to surface error thrown in performSubscribe ?

While implementing performSubscribe, I encountered an issue. My function executes a GraphQL endpoint to create a webhook. Error handling has been added to raise any failures as proper errors.The problem is that, despite seeing the Zaps correctly in the "OFF" state and receiving a Zapier notification email about the failure, I want to surface this error immediately to the user after they toggle the action from OFF to ON. Ideally, this would be a visual notification on the same screen, rather than relying on the email (which they might miss).I searched for similar issues but haven't found a solution yet.

Developer Experience

There needs to be an API to manage triggers and actions. I’ve been working on a new integration for a few days now. Our API has hundreds of endpoints. I have to add the same custom code every time with only a slight modification. Since there’s no API exposed to manage our Zapier integration, this is going to be very costly for our small development team. Ideally, we’d like to run an automation that updates the Zapier integration based on our API. Clicks take way too long. My changes aren’t saved if I move through the Platform UI too fast. Deleting or adding multiple triggers at once causes only the first of “N” to be added, so why even allow pressing save multiple times? The Platform UI can’t handle more than 30 triggers.

Intercom API version

Can someone please confirm which version of the intercom.io API zapier is running? Intercom’s most recent is v2.1 but they have advised that zapier may only be using v1.0? We have a lot of custom attributes setup in intercom that I spent a long time trying to pull into a notion board via zapier. Unfortunately, many of the custom attributes we have setup in intercom are not present via their respective contact or company models. EG. We use a lot of lead qualification fields, some are company, some are contact but when I trigger a user label in Zapier, not all the user custom attributes are returned. I’m only testing on a free account, so not sure if that makes a difference but hopefully it’s something i’m missing or that can be resolved. Thanks!

How can I limit data access provided by my API key? Specifically for ShipStation - Zapier integration.

Hi Guys,I host a ShipStation (SS) platform to manage various client orders. 1 client wishes to use a Zapier integration to link their system to our SS platform for orders. To do this, they require our SS API Key to create the link. Unfortunately this appears like it may give some unwanted access to some data for other clients. From initial testing, it at least gives naming detail (and order access) to any store on my SS platform (see example image).Is there any way to allow this Zapier linking access, meanwhile restricting the data that is given by this API link?(My apologies if there was a more succinct way of describing this. Hopefully it makes sense.)

I can’t seem to find this information from the Insights section on the Developer page, which only shows the frequency our own triggers and actions are being used.

Customize Design For API authentication page.

I have my Zapier application available which uses session authentication to authenticate users with our underlying API’s. Whenever user tries to develop ZAP using our integration they need to provide there username and password as available in our underlying system. Following page appear to users where they provide there credentials. My question is that, is there any way I can customize the design and layout of below page while using session authentication in Zapier?

Error S003: Live Version Count Limit

Hi Team, We've encountered error S003 - Live Version Count Limit, indicating a cap of 5 live production versions for our App integration. Are there higher plans available that support multiple versions? For an instance, Currently, My integrations have 5 versions, with only one being public and the remaining four being private. All versions have active users and Zap counts. After promoting the 5th version, there are some statistics that show as seen in the screenshot below. Is there any way to manage an unlimited number of versions without migrating users? Could you please provide further information on any available options or plans that would enable us to manage an unlimited number of versions for our single app integration? Free account - does it do anything?

I have a free Zapier account that I just started. I want to pull leads in from Facebook - name and email. I brought in about 40 leads this month, then Zapier said that I needed to upgrade and froze me out.Is the free plan not able to do more that? I’m just trying to figure out what the limit is, and if I cross it, where to land. This is my only use at this stage.Thanks!Hugh.
