Hi all,

 

I’m a newbie using Zapier, but I love it so far. Is there a way getting lines added to Google Sheets converted into vcard contacts?

What Contacts app are you using? (e.g. Google Contacts)

Google Contacts has these available actions.

 

EXAMPLE ZAP STEPS

  1. Trigger: GSheets - New Row
  2. Action: GContacts - Create Contact

Thanks Troy,

Well we update a google sheet with contact name, number, email etc. I was just trying to find out if it is possible to convert each line to a vcard as soon as a new line is entered so that the team can add the new contact into their mobile phone easily.

Yes, you can do this via Zapier.
You just need to select the "New Spreadsheet Row" Google sheet trigger and "Create Contact" Google Contacts action and make sure to use the same google account in your phone so it will automatically import this contact in your phone.

Could this also be used to send a vcard to an iPhone? I understand that Zapier does not currently integrate with iCloud, but I am asking if the vcard can get out to my team. And then I am trusting they will Add to Contacts themselves when they receive the text.
